Maya is two, and still pretty cute

Maya had her birthday party today at Central Park in Fremont, and it was a huge success. Theme: Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street, with some Elmo thrown in (of course); weather was above 70 and beautiful! Lots of friends and family to play with, but of course, we only took pictures of the jumbo jet (and some of her well-behaved sister, to come…). Maya played on the slide with gams, grandpa and Susy (“SUUUZEEE”) for most of the time, but also made time for some cheese, ham, and muffins. In addition, she enjoyed some sand-play and soccer with Nathan, Jack, and Gigi, and even got a huge birthday smooch from Nate! (These are all children, for infrequent readers of the blog). Of course, Maya wasn’t that impressed, because she was mainly interested in looking for puppies, and getting back to her preparation for the 2022 Olympic twisty side event.

Note: Maya’s shirt has a huge 2 on it–stylish. Also, Maya chose her own hat and shoes, and she is totally color coordinated. No joke.
