Ta-Da! It is Friday!

Maya loves to wrap herself in the curtains in her room. She climbs on her bed using her new step stool, bundles herself in the curtains, and then pops out after a few seconds of high drama, laughing hysterically. She usually brings a friend with her–either Elmo or one of her boofs. This morning, she brought BOTH boofs and they received stickers as a prize for playing this fun game. Despite her new tantrum-throwing skills and hatred of the high chair OR booster seat, she continues to be a pretty great kid (10 out of 10).

We’re trucking along here, preparing for our new arrival. Still quite a bit to do. I am pretty uncomfortable–chasing around Maya/doing laundry and cooking and cleaning (ha-our house is pretty gross)/lawyering is taking its toll on me this time around. I think Mustafa is kind of glad he gets to escape my groaning and moaning about my back and the unfairness of it all every day. Right now, I’d say the only things I like about being pregnant are a) getting a baby at the end; and b) eating cupcakes. Less than 6 weeks to go!
