Maya is quite charming

We’ve had quite the exciting weekend with a full house of exciting guests and lots of fun activities. Maya has added to the fun with some new teeth and accompanying (loud) chatter, but all in all was an excellent baby. At least this crowd was thoroughly charmed by her, even on Saturday when she woke up most of Fremont with screaming at 5:15 a.m., and was fussy throughout much of the day. Today was much better, despite her insistence that no nap was necessary. While everyone went shooting, Maya and I played outside, sang songs, drew with sidewalk chalk, and had a merry time. She melted down just in time for daddy’s (officially Mustafa’s name now) arrival.

We are going to see everyone except Uncle Uzi next weekend in Rancho. A shame, because Maya is quite fond of him, and especially his puppet skills.
Maya will be glad about one thing tomorrow: Lola comes back home. She’s been asking about Lola all weekend—boof? boof? Adorable.
