Maya is very hungry

Today was the big day–Maya had her first taste of solid food! Rice cereal was the cuisine, and at first her reaction was decidedly nonplussed (I guess mine would be too, it looked pretty bleh). Then she gobbled it up in the same way she is gobbling up the plastic hippo in this picture.

So, every three days a new food–next come two more cereals (snooze), then some homemade pureed veggies, then the fruits. She’s still grabbing everything in sight, so it is only a matter of time before she gets a burrito and a glass of white wine in her plump little hands. YUM!
