Maya and Lola are best friends

Yesterday, Maya was sitting in my lap and Lola strolled over to say hello. Usually Maya kind of ignores “the pony”, but yesterday she turned and held her arm out, and Lola put her nose under Maya’s hand and licked it…and Maya started to giggle! It was adorable.

These pictures are from a few days ago with Mustafa, but everyone pretty much looks the same. Shiny plump chocolate lab, jolly plump rosy baby.

Breaking News: It looks like I may get to serve on the Fremont Woods Homeowner’s Association Board. Some of you know how this has been my dream for…at least 10 months. I didn’t get it together to actually run for this position in the recent election, but word on the Fremont Woods street is that I may be appointed due to a longtime board member moving (an older lady that Maya and Lola have joined forces to charm on our daily walks).
