Fatima is cool enough for two posts in a row

Since Mustafa’s parents are a big audience for this blog, and Fatima’s art show is the most exciting Jamil (or Bowen) event in years, I think it warrants two blog posts in a row. Mustafa gave me late-breaking-updates by text message, and I was excited to learn that the opening of Fatima’s show took place during the montly Art Walk in L.A., which meant big crowds of art enthusiasts, and some live music at the gallery! Sounds like fun (siginificantly more fun than Maya’s 2 hour getting-to-sleep routine that night, and 4:45am wake-up call the next morning, but I digress)!

I also like these shots of Fatima and Faiz. They are so stylish! Mustafa spent a disturbingly long time picking out his outfit (like, he was late for a meeting due to this endeavor) because he didn’t want to look unstylish next to Fatima, who always looks so nice. I thought that was sweet, and he looks pretty normal, but not as cool as these two.
